Boom designer Aranel Ah is fantastic at making super sexy, look-at-me clothes.
I was privileged enough to be in one of her latest ads, for Call Me Baby. Funny story, that one. The colour I was given was Spice, so the outfit folder read Call Me Baby Spice. And I thought, ‘how perfect, cuz that Baby Spice chick always wore tiny dresses like that!’. Ahem. I was a bit dumb that day, apparently.
So, the aforementioned Call Me Baby can be worn in a few different ways, with my personal favourite being as a simple turtleneck. There is also a chest piece, which sorta makes your boobies bigger and more impressive, but it’s not necessary and I didn’t wear it for this post. Aranel has a way of referring to turtlenecks as hickey hiders, which is always funny. It comes in a billionty colours, and they’re L$275 each. There are “plump” packs of around 4 colours each for L$750 (like pastels, neutrals, etc.) and if you’re like me, the gluttony pack is L$2500.
In case you’re wondering, the skin I’m wearing in this photo is the current group gift from Belleza, and I’m desperately waiting for Tricky to release these already. I’m actually waiting on a few designers to release their teaser skins: Iki from Dutch Touch, Tricky from Belleza and Tuli from well, Tuli.
Tamed, on the left, was huge when it was released. I remember seeing these wings all over the feed, and I love them though I don’t get much opportunity to wear them. This is Bethy’s Red, named after Bethany Heart who rawks the hell out of this dress. There are a whopping 23 colours for L$250 each, or the Gluttony pack is L$2500.
This beautiful dress was really hard to choose. There were lots of different designs and colours, and it came down to this and a black one with a skull & crossbones on it, but I finally had to choose this because I really love lilies. The dress is called Why Not, and there are two themes: flowers and vintage. L$275 will buy you your very own.
The Cashmere sweater looks like it’ll feel like heaven when you put it on. I love the texturing on this as well, and it’s perfect that it has cuffs and a turtleneck. This is another of those items with eleventy billion colours, and I can never choose between them when I see something like this. These are only L$150 each, and the Gluttony pack is L$2000.
If you’ve been good or bad this year, you can find the perfect underwear at Boom! These actually come with matching cropped sweaters, but I like to be naked. Kidding. Sorta. You can also get this in the Guilty & Innocent variety.
Enough blather. Go to Boom!
