Fashion Liability!

Wow.  It’s been a long time since I was in Mischief.  I remember going there way back in my newbie days, and drooling over all the pretty clothes.  They and Nyte’N'Day were pretty much my staples.

I dress a bit differently than that these days, so Mischief sort of fell off the radar for me.  When I heard they were having a sale, however, I decided to check it out and I’m super glad I did!  The textures are all well done, and all the prim pieces were super easy to fit (yay!)

My blog post today is going to be a bit different in that I’m going to do credits after each photo.  The reason is simple:  I am wearing a lot of varied looks, and I would go starkers if I had to read my blog and figure each out the way I normally do.

Rarely do I wear an outfit straight out of the box anymore; I tend to pick pieces, match them with other things and usually, I forget to wear shoes and jewelry (Imagine me forgetting to wear SHOES!!!)  Mischief is perfect for the mix-n-matchers amongst us, and they have lots of cozy sweaters and separates.

The three cropped sweaters worn above are all by Mischief, and all are currently selling for only L$200 per fatpack (I hope you wouldn’t just get one colour at L$100 when you can get all at L$200 – no savings in that at all!)

Woooo I love this dress!  This was a bit more difficult to adjust though, so if you have hips (like I do now) you’ll definitely need to spend some time making it bigger to fit you properly.  It’s worth it in the end, I promise you.  It comes with leggings for the modest, but as you can see it doesn’t need it.  There are glitch pants in the package, so the leggings are on the underwear layer.  Again, a single colour is L$100, and a fatpack is L$200, through the duration of the sale.

Who can’t use another cute tank in SL?  That’s right, everyone can!  These Afternoon tanks have a bit of a special detail too, with a bow at the shoulder.

The Thing You Do dress is a cute one, with matching stockings and bell sleeves.  The scoop neck is very sexy too, which makes up for the rest of the outfit being fairly covered up.  I have to admit, I wandered around in this outfit, looking for some jewelry to pair with it, and I ran into Sasy Scarborough at Mandala and she was wearing it.  I shamelessly inspected her and TP’d to Baiastice so fast it made my avi spin!

There’s something about a cozy sweater that just does me in.  I love knit sweaters, in my real and second lives.  And argyle prints leap off the page for me, invoking my favourite season: Autumn.  Leaves falling, those beautiful colours…sigh.

And finally, the fancier of the items I picked up at the awesome sale.  The dress on the right is the really pretty Hard To Break, and it comes with the dark fishnet stockings shown.  I really like fishnets, and especially the really tightly woven dark ones like these.  One can never have enough of them

The outfit on the left are different pieces of a themed release called Xtra.  The skirt is Xtra Storage, the tank is Xtra Simple and the socks and scarf are Xtra accessories (there are also arm warmers in the accessories pack, but I don’t like arm warmers.  So I didn’t wear them).
