Phoenix Rising

I’ve been a baaaaaaaaaad blogger.  I’ve been sitting on these photos so long that I decided to take new ones!  But I have an excuse.  Busy, busy, busy with the shoe fair and stuff.  And unfortunately, I have to let the photos do most of the talking this time, because time is short.  But maybe that’s a good thing. :P

So okay.  Phoenix Rising.  I had never seen them before Sophia Harlow IM’d me and asked if I wanted to check them out.  I think I was getting them confused with old-timers Rising Phoenix, and for some reason I hadn’t run across what sort of items they made.  Anyhow, I’m glad Sophia sent me that IM.  Also, if you are new to them like me, or if you’ve been putting off shopping there, well this weekend is the perfect time to go!  Their Black Friday sale has been extended throughout the weekend, so you can get their beautiful clothes from 25-50% off.

PhoenixRising_Gowns

These are two of their amazing gowns, both in the Masked Affair series.  On the left is Kieran’s Majesty in Ice, and on the right, Willamina’s Tease in Black.  The detail is astounding, and they’re just really well done.  I can’t fit the entire dress in the photo, believe me I tried, but they’re full gowns and just gorgeous.

PhoenixRising_Motive

One of their latest is Motive, worn here in Navy and Yellow.  I really like that there are options in how you purchase the outfits with separate pieces – for example, you can buy each piece separately, so you don’t wind up with like 12 copies of the skirt and shirt, when those don’t change (unless you get different colours of the skirt, of course).  The big bow is my favourite aspect, but the system skirt is quite well done too.  You can wear the bustier and bow separately without the shirt underneath, but it’s winter and cold out!

PhoenixRising_Prissy

There’s something about the Prissy dress that I just adore.  I love the skirt bottom, which can be scary to wear in SL, but it’s just not somehow.  It comes with different colours in the belt, too, so if you want a bit more of a colour pop, you can do that.  I show the back in my photo, because I absolutely love the touch of realism with the zipper.

LILEs

One of the latest releases is Lile’s Impression, and you can get it in different colours to replace the black bodice.  I stuck with classic black though, cuz I’m boring like that.  Not that this dress is boring; anything but! You can choose to wear it with or without the feather at the top.  This is definitely one of my favourites from Phoenix Rising.

Go now, check it out!  Make sure to tell them I sent you! :P

All hair by Truth.  Skins by LeLutka, Belleza and Dutch Touch.  Jewelry by Muse and honestly, I have no clue where I got that black beaded necklace in the first pic.  I can’t find it in my inventory again!
