Sigma at the Fair

I sometimes live in a bubble. There, I said it. I do have to admit, I’ve seen the occasional post about Sigma on the Le.Look blog, but it didn’t register or something, I dunno. But I’ve now corrected that gross oversight, and I have to say I’m a little bit in love now. Thank gawd they were at the Accessory Fair when I was checking out the stores or else I would still be in my own head going “la la la…”

The Lumina set, comprised of a necklace and two styles of bracelets, was one of my favourites to discover, as I absolutely love muted metallics. The necklace is casual, cool and layered, which are three very hot looks for me right now. It also comes in other colours, and when you buy it, it’s as a set of two colours, which I think is pretty cool. It was also not too expensive at L$320! There’s soooooo much overly expensive jewelry right now and it’s nice to see a store that is a bit more realistic.

The Perio necklace is made of a couple of different types of smaller beads in several different colours (this is Pink Sea), and it’s a great way to bring together an outfit if you just can’t find the right accessories.

Thought I bought (and love) more than what I am going to show today, I decided the photos have to end sometime. Another of my favourites pieces from the fair is this Amelia necklace. It also comes with two colours per pack \o/ and there are two packs to choose from. This is Terra Lime, part of the Pastels pack, but as you can see it’s not really too pastelly, which I like because well, I’m not a holiday person and I almost always associate pastels with Easter.

If you haven’t seen Sigma at the fair, then you’re missing out. If you’re like me and you’ve never heard of them, then consider this the proverbial slap upside the head and go check them out at their mainstore!

All Hallow’s Eve

Halloween is not a huge deal to me, it never has been. But it is an excellent source inspiration for amazing costumes, dresses and other things by the designers of SL®. Alienbear Gupte and Agnes Finney are but two who have created something special.

This is a simple post only to show off a really gorgeous gown and jewelry collaboration between Alienbear Designs and My Precious. Alienbear has always been really good at intricately designed, detailed sets and she doesn’t disappoint. I love all aspects of the Sirvart set, notably the necklace and especially the back spiderweb. This set is selling for L$500.

The Fairy Princess dress is very nicely done as well, and I really like the assymetrical skirt. Is that what you’d call it? I don’t know. I just know I like it, and it’s reasonably priced at L$350. The purple version seems to come with wings too, if you’re the type of fairy princess who wants wings.

Beautiful Lotus

Mandala has released new jewelry to add on to their absolutely gorgeous Lotus series. Now, there are earrings, necklaces, hand-encompassing bracelets and rings, all available in white and black. I went a little nuts, but I can’t help myself!
