Estelle is the latest skin release from powerhouse LeLutka, and I’m in love. Judging from the amount of blog posts and pics around, I’m not the only one either.

Estelle is absolutely gorgeous and well deserving of the heaps and heaps of praise I see every day in-world, on the various feeds and on plurk, which I try to avoid but it’s like the crack, man. Just like this skin. Except, it’s good for you. And to try it is free (1L is free, in my humble opinion). See? They’ll reel you in every time.

Read more after the cut.

We’re going to go from the fairest of them all to the darkest. According to LeLutka manager Aradia Dielli, the darkest tone for Estelle is Suntan. Which sorta sucks, actually, because even though I’m a pale white chick in real life (much like the tone above), I like to be black in Second Life sometimes, and LeLutka makes some really beautiful black skins.

I’m showing you my favourite four makeups for each tone, but there are approximately eight or so for each, including the base. As with the last release, there are hairbases, light and dark brows, photoshoot lashes, the ponytail which is all over the feeds, and pubic hair clothing layers. You can buy push-em-up cleavage clothing layers in the store separately. Unfortunately, no freckles with these new skins either.

Pale might be more my shade, actually. It’s hard to decide just how pale I like to be in SL when I am in a pale mood. This one has some of my favourite makeups, like the one shown on the top right.

Each skin is only 1190L, and fatpacks are 5250L. Because there are no freckle versions, each skin is less expensive.

The light tone has the most makeups, with twelve plus the base makeup! Because there are so many, the fatpack is 7550L for this tone. I absolutely love the random freckles placed on the cheek, the little details like that make me squee!

Above are the Sunkissed makeups with a hairbase, and you can see in the photo that they are very natural looking. If you’re going to a laggy Sim, then this is the perfect skin to wear, as you can take off your prim hair but not be bald! I went to the Fri.day sale yesterday and OMG I definitely recommend wearing no hair or prims, or scripts, of any kind!

The darkest tone is Suntanned, and it reminds me of how certain people might look after they return from their amazing, jealousy-causing trip to Brazil!

The details on the body are great too. I found nary a seam, and that is fairly rare amongst even the greats. The nipples are…chewable!, and the back is amazing. Makes me want to go backless in all my clothes!

Sorry this post is such a quickie, but I don’t have much time these days, as I’ve been spending most of my time on the Shoe Fair. If you haven’t gone yet, then what are you waiting for? It’s for such a good cause and there are so many amazing pairs of shoes there, it’s like an orgy of shopping for the shoe lover!

So, what are you waiting for? Everyone looks amazing in this skin, seriously. Go get it!

That damn Iki! Why does she have to be so freakin’ talented? She’s seriously working overtime to bring us amazing skins, sure, but also killing my Linden balance.

The latest skin to roll out of her factory (well it feels like it, since she’s so prolific) is the lovely and beautiful Jolie skin. I think of the last three releases, all of which I adored, this is the best. I’ve been wearing it non-stop for the past few days, which, let me tell you, is something special since I have so many skins.

First, let’s break down the choices:

• Four different fatpacks, including the Pip (the one with the crazy-looking lips).

• Five tones altogether (though not all packs include all tones).

• Fatpacks range in price from L$2000 – L$4000, depending on the pack (all have a different number of makeups).

• Included options are: eyelashes, brow shapes, three different brow colours, pubic hair clothing layers, freckly skins and mondo-cleavage skins.

The Colours fatpack is my favourite, and not least of it is because there are brand new makeups in there! I love having different ones to choose from, even if I choose to go completely casual most of the time. Shown in the above eight headshots are all the makeups included in the Colours set.

I also adore the freckles options. I have freckles in real life, so I am always interested when skins have freckles here. And these ones aren’t too overwhelming, which is important, and I absolutely LOVE the random tiny moles placed over the face. They add a lot of character to a face, I think.

The Basics pack is another classic. It includes smokey eyes, no makeup (a definite beauty when you were the freckles version) and a light eyemakeup version. And that’s only L$2k for 3 skins, a definite bargain when you consider that each skin on its own is L$1000.

Okay, so if you tried either the Cleo or River sets, and they just weren’t you, though you did like them, try these instead. It’s like she took the best features of both and then added a bit more Awesome, and this is the result. Now I just need to save my Lindens to get the Liners pack (and all the other skin tones )

Teleport to Dutch Touch!

I’ve been a major skin whore since my return to SL® only six short weeks ago. Many a fatpack has found its way into my inventory, and I love all of them, but my latest love has to be the nummylicious Bella skins by Cake.

These skins are really beautiful and soft-looking. They’re intensely pretty and just really….female, you know? There’s very little bad to say about them, with the possible exception that it blew a seriously big hole in my Linden balance when I opted to get all of them!

Bella by the numbers:

• L$1250 each

• 4 packs of four makeups at L$3000

• All 16 makeups for L$10000

• 12 tones in all, named after cities around the world; I am wearing Vancouver – a city close to my heart, geographically and spiritually.

The cost is what it is; Cake has always been above the curve when it comes to cost for everything they sell. There are not many options included with this skin, which other designers have started to include as a matter of standard practice. There is an underwear layer for pubic hair, and a brow shape. The eyebrows are moddable, but the colour can’t be changed. That kind of sucks, especially for the raven-haired among us. No cleavage for the bountiful either. But I like my boobs just fine already.

The makeup choices are all well-done. I am not a big fan of overly-done makeups, and Stumbelina has balanced that line perfectly. She has made-up eyes with neutral, glossy lips, and vice versa. I especially love that she’s included a rosy-cheeked makeup that looks like you’re skiing for the weekend in Whistler! (bottom right).

Sometimes with skin creators, I’ve noticed that the stomachs are really ripped, which is fine but I personally prefer a softer look. I don’t know many females with a six-pack. I definitely like the belly-button as well. I could poke my finger in there! The back, too, is not overdone with muscle shading bulging everywhere.

If you haven’t tried the demos, you definitely should go check them out. And while you’re there, grab the new eyelashes! The pillow lashes are awesome!

Brace yourselves. I’m about to get naked. Get yourselves a cold drink, clean your glasses, whatever you need to do. I’ve never before showed the goods on a blog, but I feel like skins kinda warrant the change in policy. When your nipples look really good, you want to show them off, right? I’m still not showing off the downstairs though. Some things are best left to your own personal demo copy.

Lelutka, after being closed for roughly five days, has reopened with a new amazing Thora-made build, new skins, and eventually from what I hear new bunches-of-other-stuff.

Here are the numbers:

• Six skintones (currently, two more tones are coming tomorrow from what the posters say in-store)

• Seven makeups per tone, plus a base with no makeup.

• Included in each makeup option is a pubic hair option on two layers, a brows shape, photoshoot eyelashes, dark or light eyebrows, with or without freckles and/or hair bases, some bangs and a few hairs. Not full hairs, but add-ons.

• L$1500 per skin or L$8500 per fatpack. It seems steep, but I think the price is justified by all the extras. For those of you who want the extra oomph a Wonderbra would provide, you can purchase a cleavage pack separately for L$350.

Sunkissed is just that. Sometimes when you see a Sunkissed tone, it looks more like the sun slapped you down and rolled all over you, leaving its leathery old-looking mark upon you. It’s just barely tanned, like what one might look like if they went to Oahu for two weeks in January.

One of the most striking features on Eclat has to be the eyebrows. Come on, you all noticed them right away. Let’s face it; fuller eyebrows are in. This is a pretty drastic departure from their earlier skins, but I think they look a lot better. I admit, they had to grow on me, and I had to find the right eyebrow shape, but after all of that, I think they look beautiful and I prefer these over thin eyebrows…I probably always would have, had they been an option.

If you’re more the city girl who doesn’t see a lot of sunshine, and certainly not in Oahu, then the pale tone may work better for you. One thing I adore about Lelutka is that they don’t recycle the same makeups for each and every tone, because not every makeup looks good on all the tones. They mix it up, and they’re much better, options-wise, for it. I love that there is every makeup from dramatic eyes to dramatic lips to a scrubbed, bare face you might sport the morning after an amazing night out.

Okay, you ready for the money shot? (I know this is a bigger deal for me than it is for you, but still!)

It has to be said, I look damn good naked! I said it in plurk, and I’m saying it again here, my nipples and tummy and back are all really hot! I’d totally hump myself.

Well…maybe not. That’s just weird. But I do really like the body on this skin and all the highlights and everything are really well-done. I didn’t even see any seams, which are fairly noticeable even on the best of the other skins out there. It’s a mark of talent when your skins don’t have lines all over them like you’re about to get major plastic surgery.

So, if you’re avoiding Lelutka skins because you don’t think you can pull off the heavy brows, or you just have never tried them, you should definitely give them a chance to amaze you. They’re really gorgeous and I’m going to be wearing these for awhile I think (at least until I get myself another 10K. It’s not easy or cheap being a skin whore).

Teleport to Lelutka
