Seaside Sweetie is the name of their latest collection, and it’s perfect for spending time at the seashore, whether it be Cape Cod or the Jersey shore.  Well, maybe it’s too classic for the Jersey shore, or at least the TV show.

The texture work is sublime, and Roslin has mastered the system skirt, particularly the ass.  I’m not showing it here, but believe me, it’s one rockin’ ass.

All of the pieces in the collection are mix-and-matchable, and you dress them up or down.  Each top is L$100 for either style, and the shorts and skirts are L$120 each.

These clothes are not just for the shore though; with the right shoes and accessories, you look just as good on the city streets of a New York Sim!

Luth Brodie of Reel Expression, who was possibly the first maker of model poses in SL, or at least the first one I was ever aware of, is back to work and making poses!

One of the new releases is the Fashion Series 8 set, twelve poses geared for fashion.  It has some great poses in the set, and the switching is smooth and easy.

Last Friday, Reek released a bunch of new beachwear options, and yay it’s love!  We always need new cute boardshorts and bikini tops to match, and if there’s a third option in cute bikini bottoms, so much the better.

There are several different styles of tops, including floral, tops with a pretty bird on one boob and then just gradiant solid colours.  They can all be mixed and matched with the boardshorts, and then if you like, there are solidly coloured bikini bottoms, with very cute sculpted ties on each side.  This is a can’t-miss for the summer months coming upon us (sorry, Southern Hemisphere).

In keeping with the Summer Is Upon Us theme, Glitterati has released some new pose sets, including this set with wearable Beach Balls.  With poses ranging from simply holding the beach balls to laying on them, it’s a fantastic prop set for the season.

Camile is a sexy sequined minidress which will surely turn some heads at the club (are there any good clubs these days?  Damn I miss Seven Ultra Lounge) or wherever you happen to be.  The huge sleeves too are an eye-catcher.

Laure is an empire-waisted flowy top over some crazy cutout leggings.  I love these leggings so much, I hope they come out in more colours!

Mindy, the craziest ballerina outfit ever, with virtually no top above the corset (just X’d out nipple covers) and a tutu gone loco.  The flower-shaped collar balances out the tutu very well indeed.

But when I saw today the new exclusive Pose Sets for men and women, I think that was the most excited I’ve been!  I’m a sucker for exclusive stuff.  I still love my RFL 2008 poses from LAP and use them all the time, and I would cut off my prim feet before I’d give up the Maitreya special edition shoes I’ve managed to snag.

These are poses representative of the 104 pose creators at the fair, and I liked virtually every one of the thirty-six! poses included. But I’m not going to bore you all with the photos of every one of them, especially since you can see the poster here (and buy it before it disappears!)

From left to right, we have Baffle, ComPOSEure & Don’t Freak Out.  The casual poses from Baffle & ComPOSEure are definitely appropriate for my casual outfit, which I haven’t taken off now for nearly 3 days!

Juxtapose made the pose on the left, which I love (and I’ll have to go check out the rest of the store now, since I don’t recall seeing it at the fair during one of my *many* visits), Long Awkward Pose made the centre pose and Miamai’s to credit for the pose on the right.

On the left is a pose from Oh My Stars, the centre pose is from Sassafras and the pose on the right is from Slash Me Poses, which is a store name I love so hard I can’t even describe it.

And for my final pose montage, I’ve showcased poses from (L-R) doll, Storin & aDorkable Poses.

It’s worth mentioning that every Linden raised from the sale of this exclusive pose set goes directly to the fair’s chosen charity, Motivation, which helps those with mobility problems in low-income countries.  It’s L$500 well worth spending.

The oversized glasses are perfect for that wicked hangover walk-of-shame the next morning, or ya know, if you’re at some glamorous event or something.  Either way, you can hide behind them for that bit of mystery needed in every girl’s life.  There are tons of options included in a very easy to use HUD attachment.  I got the neutrals pair, which has five lens colours, plus clear if you want to wear them as regular glasses, and you can have them as either solid or faded too.

The Essential glasses should be standard issue in everyone’s inventory.  The same HUD as in the Oversized pair was included here, and besides the six lens options, there are also ten different frame colours to choose from.  And that’s only in the neutrals pack.  There are other sets too if you like bright colours or ya know, just not neutral.  In any case, you can’t go wrong with these.  And there are demos!  Check them out at the Accessory Fair until the 27th of March, or their mainstore anytime!

This week was no exception to the awesomeness.

The Spring Bloom dress is so lovely and perfect for spring, which it’s starting to feel like where I am.  It’s March in a couple of days and it has not snowed all winter here.  So I am hoping, knock wood, that it means it won’t!  One can only dream.

So anyhow, where was I…right!  The Spring Bloom dress is a short frock with a ruffly skirt and a low cut scoop-necked tank style top.  It comes in several different colour combinations and lookit the bow on the back!  I love bows.  The hair worn with the yellow dress is also a newer one by Fri.day called Miley, and the one on the left is Carrie.  I love the casual ponytail styles they keep coming out with and rocking the hell out of!

Another very cute dress released recently is the Sweet Heart dress, shown here in Citrine (left) and Pearl (right).  It’s really late and I can’t think of what to say about this dress except look how gorgous!  So go get it.

The other week was a good one for hairstyles with flowers in it.  First Truth came out with Berry, and then this lovely Marie style came out the next day, with a separately attached bloom (so you can wear it with any hairstyle!)  It has to be said that Fri.day has always paid a lot of attention to the small details and making sure that their customers get their money’s worth.  The flower comes with 3 different attachment point options!

The comfy cardigan is one of my favourite releases this year.  I’m such a sweater whore.  The jeans are also one of the newer releases, and look at the cute pockets on them!  They do a booty good.

Under the sweater, I’m wearing the Fri.day Basic Cami in white, and this colour is only available as a freebie at the Sunny sim.  Yes, that’s right, a freebie.  This is one of the best cute camis, and I love that it’s not *too* low cut, so it’s good for layering under cardigans like this!  My hair is the brand new effortly classy Summer hair, and I didn’t think of it at the time, but the flower from the Marie hair would be perfect with this to sort of dress it up a bit!

The latest release is Emma’s way of saying she’s sick to death of winter, and bring on the summer already!  I can’t blame her really, though my winter on the west coast has been far better than what I’ve heard it’s like on the east coast.

My favourite of the bunch is the mid-thigh length jeans Shack jeans shorts with rolled up cuffs and in eight incredible denim washes.  These are so worn in and comfy looking, exactly what you’d want to wear over your brand new Moana Surf Co. bikini when you’re at the beach.  They are cut *very* low in the back, so if you are a fan of the hint of plumber crack, these are for you!

The shoes I’m wearing are the excellent Boardwalk shoes, also from Surf Co.  All these shoes coming out, I’m loving like a two dollar shoe whore!

Some of my other favourite releases, though it came out while I was on sabbatical from SL last year.  I’m a little bit Country is the name of this top, and it goes oh-so-perfectly with the Straw Cowboy Hat, my favourite feature of which is how it comes in both a regular shade and the faded version of that shade.  And the hat comes with a wheat shaft to chew on!

So today it’s all about the jewelry.  The items I mostly always forget to wear.  But there is so many beautiful pieces, and so many great designers it was tough to decide which to feature as my top five.

Muse, though now an inactive store (*sniff*), still has some of the best-made and beautiful jewelry around.  I love the textures used on her pearls especially, so I am showing the Margaux necklace.  One good thing about her store being so quiet is that I can buy all the older stuff I didn’t have already, because back in the day I didn’t buy fatpacks.  If I had to choose, though, I’d choose for Caliah to come back!

Paper Couture has been featured on my blog recently, but that’s because their jewelry is absolutely amazing!  My rings folder is almost all Paper Couture.  I don’t even know what else to say except GO GET IT.  And if you’re looking for older pieces, they keep all that stuff on XStreet.

Luc is sadly another store that seems to be inactive.  Why do these amazing jewelry designers seem to go away and stop making stuff?  Though I *suppose* I can understand the need to take a break from SL, I just hope they come back too.  Luc, rebranded from Earthtones, makes so many different styles of jewelry, but somehow it’s still all very recognizable as his work.

I really love Zaara‘s jewelry.  It’s really unique and very pretty, and there’s so many items that are so versatile, dressing up a casual outfit or adding the special touch to something far more formal.

And finally, we have Mandala, one of my favourite new stores ever.  I love virtually everything in there and every time I go I find something new to wear.  I recently splurged on the fatpack of the Pearl Rain sets, these are just so beautiful.
