My good friend Surrealia Anatine of ANA_Mations has been rebuilding her Sim, including a renaming, and we’re having a grand opening today at Noon SLT.  Come and dance with DJ Elle Kirshner from 12-4 pm SLT, and then a night at the drive-in at 7pm SLT, featuring Boogie Nights!

Lastly, she pictured to herself how this same little sister of hers would, in the after-time, be herself a grown woman; and how she would keep, through all her riper years, the simple and loving heart of her childhood: and how she would gather about her other little children, and make THEIR eyes bright and eager with many a strange tale, perhaps even with the dream of Wonderland of long ago: and how she would feel with all their simple sorrows, and find a pleasure in all their simple joys, remembering her own child-life, and the happy summer days….

Motivated for change, and encompassing inspirations like the classic 1970′s children’s show, The Electric Company,  Wiccan heaven, and the late 70′s as she remembers them, ANA_Mations creator Surrealia Anatine rebuilt her entire Sim over the past few weeks, created a whole new line of products, including pre-fabs, furniture with exclusive animations, not to mention recent releases of rollerskates and pose sets!

So…with that, let’s get on with things.

My good friend Surrealia of ANA_Mations has come out with some seriously amazing stuff in the past year.  It’s sort of perfect to feature some of her latest stuff in the first post on the new blog, since she was one of my first friends in SL way back when.

The puppet stage is really amazing.  After rezzing the stage and putting on all of the hooks, I sat down on the stage and waited for the menu to come up.  These particle ropes came out and ensnared me through the hooks, with a menu-driven system that has 10 options, ranging from dance to sleep.  If you want to own the stage, and everything that goes along with it, it’s L$1000 and it’s transferrable.  If you don’t like the look of the stage and would rather make your own, you can buy the rigging and poses for only L$800.

Did you ever see those movies like Step Up and think, “I could do that.”  Well, I saw that movie and while I *know* I can’t do anything even remotely like that, my avatar totally can!  ANA_Mations has recently come out with some ballet poses, in three different styles: Classic, Lover’s, and Blue Jean poses.  I shanghai’d a friend into posing with me, and even made him buy a sweaty looking wifebeater!

There are tons and tons of poses, and several different ways to get them for your very own.  You can buy them separately or in each type’s mini-fatpack.  You can also get all of them in a photographer’s cube, or in a poseball fatpack.  The cube and poseball fatpack are each L$3500, which is obviously the best deal .  And I’m not just saying that cuz I’m a fatpack whore.

The Ballet AO is the newest AO, and it’s incredibly fun.  My favourite pose in the AO is the hover (third from the left), by far, and it’s not at all because I feel like I look a little bit like a happy leprechaun!  You definitely want to pick up this AO if you plan on being a ballerina for Halloween, or just because.   It has a lot in it, including a ballerina walk, so it’s a bit more expensive at L$1500, but totally worth it.

Surrealia is planning on redoing her entire Sim sometime soon, and knowing her, it’ll be another amazing build.  If you haven’t seen her current build, Jabberwocky, then you definitely need to get down there before it’s gone!
