Sasha features a fantastic floppy bow on the side, which is texture changeable.  The funny thing is, I didn’t even try to see if it was colour-changeable until I was writing this post and it suddenly occured to me to check.  The back is slightly poofed out, as it would be if you were wearing this sort of bow in real life, and it’s those types of details that make me such a fan of their work.

Fiona is a messy sort of updo, the kind of hair that says “I put it up like this when I woke up but it looks freakin’ fantastic on me”.  They do messy styles very well, and I hope when they do release more hair, they release more like this.  I don’t wear long hair too often for boobie penetration reasons, so these types of styles are perfect for me.

And finally, we have Lexi.  A little plain in the front, and totally cute in the back.  This is the hairstyle that is being donated to the Hair Fair charity, Wigs for Kids.  Only L$850 for a fatpack, it’s completely worth it.  But I suppose if you’re not a fatpack buyer, for some unfathomable to me reason, you can get the individual packs for L$250.

Truth is the brains behind this massive fundraising drive, and not only did he work to put it all together with a small team behind him, but he also made one of the most gorgeous hairs, with all of the proceeds for donation.  Aloha comes in two options, so you can wear the shells or not, and as if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a version included with two attachment points, so they don’t sink into your boobs.  Which is a very common problem with long hair, and a major annoyance.

It’s for a good cause and look how gorgeous it is!  Definitely get this soon because after this fundraiser is over, it will never be offered again.

Sigma is one of my favourite jewelry stores and everytime I see a new release, I drop everything to go get it.  They never disappoint me either.  They have four items out, and these are but just two (matching earrings & necklace), and they come in gold and silver.  They’re so beautiful and they always fit so well, it’s a crime not to get them.  Especially when it’s for such a worthy cause!

And finally today, my very good friend Dakota Buck of Whippet & Buck has made some lovely dresses for charity.  It’s an uncomplicated design, but a classic.  And it should be a staple in everyone’s wardrobe.  It comes in four colours (shown are floral & black, and there is also naked and white) at L$150 each, and all proceeds for all colours are being donated to charity.

Oh, and they’re called Chapman!  So if you were in any doubt about needing these (though I can’t imagine why, because well…just look at them), you have to get it for the superawesome name alone!

Tya Fallingbridge of Pixel Mode is one of those designers who have been around literally forever, but she’s still on top of her game and keeping up with the latest trends and techniques.  Her latest release, the Jori sandals, are absolutely stunning and well worth the heaps of praise I’ve seen all over the blogosphere during the past few weeks.

The Jori sandals come in two styles, with either black soles/heels or colour-matched ones.  You can also choose from a bunch of nailpolish colours, a dozen or so metal accent colours, and you can resize if you’re a man into ladies shoes, or you just have bigger ankles than Miss Tya (like myself).  It was remarkably easy to adjust my skintone to match one of my current favourites, the Tuli Audrey skin, and if you’re not so hot at the matching, you’ll be pleased with the included notecard that has numbers for a lot of popular skin creators.  It actually doesn’t include Audrey, but it was still easy to do myself.

I know that these feet have been slaved over, and while they’re not quite as detailed as Maitreya’s in the toe area, they’re still really good.  The heels in particular are incredibly good-looking.  I like a little realism with my prim feet, since I don’t generally wear them with entirely handdrawn skins anyhow.

So these leopard-print ones…to be fair, I don’t think they’re available.  They were a special creation for the winner of one of the Blogger category contests we held for the Shoe Fair.  But I got them too cuz, well, I put out.  And I adore them and had to put them on and show ‘em off.  Neener neener? Just kidding.

There are a billionty colours available, so you will not have any problem matching whatever you need to match.  Or not match, if that’s your thing.  These shoes are quite simply gorgeous, and in fatpack you save 50%!  Fatpack is my favourite colour, so I’m always very excited when it’s a really good deal.

I always think it’s nice to view the HUD before you buy it, because you want to know what you’re getting yourself into, right?  You see that little help button at the bottom? That’s what you click if you want the skintone preset notecard.  When you adjust the tone with the HSL buttons, it makes a little dinging noise, which is actually quite satisfying and not at all annoying.  I am acutely aware of annoying sounds in SL and do my best to make sure I don’t hear them, so this is a big thing for me.  There’s another HUD included where you can change the metal accents, and I like that it’s two separate HUDS so it’s not all cluttered onto one.

You definitely want to get yourself down to Pixel Mode where these are now available in the mainstore, after being exclusively available only at the Shoe Fair for the past couple of weeks.

Seaside Sweetie is the name of their latest collection, and it’s perfect for spending time at the seashore, whether it be Cape Cod or the Jersey shore.  Well, maybe it’s too classic for the Jersey shore, or at least the TV show.

The texture work is sublime, and Roslin has mastered the system skirt, particularly the ass.  I’m not showing it here, but believe me, it’s one rockin’ ass.

All of the pieces in the collection are mix-and-matchable, and you dress them up or down.  Each top is L$100 for either style, and the shorts and skirts are L$120 each.

These clothes are not just for the shore though; with the right shoes and accessories, you look just as good on the city streets of a New York Sim!

I never would have imagined I’d want gems on my shoes but once I wore these, all I could think was “oooh how shiny!”  They come in 10 colours, with fifteen gemstone colours (though not onyx, *ahem* Siddean!) and countless other options:

• Socks or no socks

• Open or closed-toe

• Stockings or no stockings

• Invisiprim or 2.0 alpha

• Colour-change metals (like the zipper pull)

• Colour-change nailpolishes

• Skin colour customization, including the RGB value input (so you just have to enter the number to match)

• Scripted resizing if the straps cut into your ankle or whatever, or if you just want bigger or smaller feet

And all of that is in the super-easy, anyone-can-use-it, have-to-be-an-idiot-not-to-understand-it HUD.  But just in case you just woke up and are still a bit groggy, SLink has customer service and information and FAQ’s on their website for you to peruse.

It’s been at least two years since then, and Earthstones is now one of the “big names” in jewelry design, at least for me.   Her store is very earthy and rustic feeling, but inside you can find some of the most beautiful and intricate work around.

Chandraki is the latest release, and it strikes me as a bit bohemian and quirky, but still gorgeous.  There are some amazing colour options available and this one is the most colourful with spectrolite and gold and smooth dark wood encircling it.  Sets include the necklace, earrings and a bracelet, though each piece is purchased separately, and if you want them all, you can get fatpacks of the necklaces, bracelets or earrings.

The Basket of Spring earrings are breathtaking.  The details are amazing and so perfect, right down to the ladybug  & the butterfly perched on the tiny ropes.  These embody Springtime and I am in absolute love with them.  They do come at a hefty price though; for the pair it’ll cost you L$1750.

Zahra is made of twisted metal and inset stones, a striking combination in some really gorgeous colours.  This colour combo reminds me of water and sky and the moon.  The bracelet is probably my favourite piece, I think it’d go perfectly on its own without the others and you can wear it with just about anything, I bet.

And finally, the formal Radiance set, diamonds that go down getting progressively bigger, which is how diamonds look best in my humble, and poor, opinion.  This is a complete set that includes two types of earrings, either the ones pictured or more simple diamond solitaires, which are a classic staple every girl should have in her inventory.  And you can get this in either gold or platinum so there’s something for everyone.

This is Tuli’s latest group gift sneak peek of Sayuri, an exotic Asian skin that has me drooling and probably later camping out in her store waiting.  I’m most stoked that I didn’t have to change my shape at all to wear it cuz above all I’m super lazy about that!

Don’t Freak Out is an awesome name for a store!  These poses are from the Full of Secrets series, and I like how they are a bit freer with the arms.  I sometimes grow weary of either the legs or the arms being the focus of a specific pose, but hardly ever both, and these work well with my avatar which is also a huge bonus.  The switching between poses was smooth too, a requirement for poses I use.

Everglow has tons of poses tailored for modeling, and these are but just a few.  I’d never heard of this store before the fair, but I’m looking forward to seeing what else comes out of that store.  I like the placement of the legs a lot, kinda cute and awkward and splayed.

Grazia Horwitz is premiering her second (that I know of) pose store in the fair, called Geez.  I used to buy some of her poses when she had Grapevine at Rue d’Antibes, but then it sort of disappeared.  Luckily, you can buy all of those old Grapevine poses at the fair for L$350, over 50 of them, and check out her new poses while you’re at it.  She has several mini-sets of poses available, mostly for the girls but one for the boys too.  These are my favourites, but from the various sets on offer.  I always like a good ass shot!

Haunted Zuzu is yet one more new-to-me store, and when I saw this cute Black Crystal set, I knew I had to wear it.  The hair flower has weird spiky things coming out of it, and it reminded me vaguely of a spider, but it’s a different sort of embellishment and I am always up for something a bit different!  The flowers are really pretty and well done, and besides this colour, there’s a bunch of others.  Go check them out at the fair!

Dark Mouse is one of those stores I keep meaning to go to and I can’t pinpoint why I haven’t yet.  But luckily, I got some blogger copies of their latest releases and so yay, more flowers for Phoe!  I especially love the Found Things set, shown on the right, a delightfully eclectic blend of a vintage-y feel. On the left is Remember Me, which includes the bracelet for both wrists which I love, because I am lazy and impatient, and don’t like having to refit it for the other wrist when I want to wear it on a specific side.  I thought they were at the fair but I can’t find them so screw it.  Visit their mainstore!

After semi-stalking her plurk and Berry’s blog, Zaara finally released the rings she’s been working on and they’re currently only available in her stall at the fair.  There are three different styles, but this Raga ring turned out to be my favourite as I’m currently on a flower kick.  This ring is also available in three colours, so for rings, which there are just not enough of in SL when you take out wedding rings, there’s now lots of new choices at Zaara!

Rozoregalia is one of those super-expensive jewelry stores in SL, and I don’t own a ton from there (well, this week I actually went a bit crazy but I digress) because of that.  However, the things I do own are really nice and well-made.  At the fair, I picked up this Vanitas set, which is really gorgeous, and there’s more to it than what I am showing here, but I can only afford so much there!  It’s texture/particle/sizing change scripted, so you don’t have to wear it in purple.  But I’m born in February so amethysts are my thing.
