Truth is the brains behind this massive fundraising drive, and not only did he work to put it all together with a small team behind him, but he also made one of the most gorgeous hairs, with all of the proceeds for donation.  Aloha comes in two options, so you can wear the shells or not, and as if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a version included with two attachment points, so they don’t sink into your boobs.  Which is a very common problem with long hair, and a major annoyance.

It’s for a good cause and look how gorgeous it is!  Definitely get this soon because after this fundraiser is over, it will never be offered again.

Sigma is one of my favourite jewelry stores and everytime I see a new release, I drop everything to go get it.  They never disappoint me either.  They have four items out, and these are but just two (matching earrings & necklace), and they come in gold and silver.  They’re so beautiful and they always fit so well, it’s a crime not to get them.  Especially when it’s for such a worthy cause!

And finally today, my very good friend Dakota Buck of Whippet & Buck has made some lovely dresses for charity.  It’s an uncomplicated design, but a classic.  And it should be a staple in everyone’s wardrobe.  It comes in four colours (shown are floral & black, and there is also naked and white) at L$150 each, and all proceeds for all colours are being donated to charity.

Oh, and they’re called Chapman!  So if you were in any doubt about needing these (though I can’t imagine why, because well…just look at them), you have to get it for the superawesome name alone!

Luth Brodie of Reel Expression, who was possibly the first maker of model poses in SL, or at least the first one I was ever aware of, is back to work and making poses!

One of the new releases is the Fashion Series 8 set, twelve poses geared for fashion.  It has some great poses in the set, and the switching is smooth and easy.

It’s been at least two years since then, and Earthstones is now one of the “big names” in jewelry design, at least for me.   Her store is very earthy and rustic feeling, but inside you can find some of the most beautiful and intricate work around.

Chandraki is the latest release, and it strikes me as a bit bohemian and quirky, but still gorgeous.  There are some amazing colour options available and this one is the most colourful with spectrolite and gold and smooth dark wood encircling it.  Sets include the necklace, earrings and a bracelet, though each piece is purchased separately, and if you want them all, you can get fatpacks of the necklaces, bracelets or earrings.

The Basket of Spring earrings are breathtaking.  The details are amazing and so perfect, right down to the ladybug  & the butterfly perched on the tiny ropes.  These embody Springtime and I am in absolute love with them.  They do come at a hefty price though; for the pair it’ll cost you L$1750.

Zahra is made of twisted metal and inset stones, a striking combination in some really gorgeous colours.  This colour combo reminds me of water and sky and the moon.  The bracelet is probably my favourite piece, I think it’d go perfectly on its own without the others and you can wear it with just about anything, I bet.

And finally, the formal Radiance set, diamonds that go down getting progressively bigger, which is how diamonds look best in my humble, and poor, opinion.  This is a complete set that includes two types of earrings, either the ones pictured or more simple diamond solitaires, which are a classic staple every girl should have in her inventory.  And you can get this in either gold or platinum so there’s something for everyone.

This is Tuli’s latest group gift sneak peek of Sayuri, an exotic Asian skin that has me drooling and probably later camping out in her store waiting.  I’m most stoked that I didn’t have to change my shape at all to wear it cuz above all I’m super lazy about that!

Keira is the first skin I’ve ever had with red brows, and I imagine all of the SL gingers out there are delighted to have brows tailor-made for them.  Yes, brown brows seem to work just fine for me when I want to wear red hair, but I’m not a  natural redhead and so I don’t think my opinion counts as much ya know?

The makeups are just as beautiful and flawless as ever, with some old favourites returning, but also some brand new gorgeous choices too. Freckles are a bit more plentiful this time around too, not just randomly placed moles.  This time also, Iki has separated the skins by brow colour, like Belleza did recently with their Elle release.  I still think it’s a good thing overall, but not so much on my Linden balance when I want all of them!

Belleza has recently released Elle, the third skin in what I like to think is a group of sisters.  Elle seems to be the middle sister, not quite as sophisticated as her big sister Jesse, and not quite as innocent as her younger sister Alyson.

Elle also offers more skintones than before, with two tones more than the last release, Alyson, and five more tones than what was offered with Jesse.  A new Fair tone has been added, which is more pale than Pale, and a new Mocha tone, shown above.

Also, I want to show off the new “Katey-kini”, Nayar’s latest release named after his partner, and it’s a super-cute bikini.  Yes, there are minor seam issues but they’re not generally too noticeable with your average AO.  I think the good points of the bikini far outweighs the seam issues, and the huge back bow is the best part.  Except maybe the halter top that creates killer cleavage, even if your boobs are tiny!

Designer Tricky Boucher is a pretty generous guy, always offering group gifts to his subscribers.  I need to keep remembering that, because for some reason I keep leaving the update group when I need room (though once it was completely by accident), and I absolutely hate paying the L$250 group joining fee more than once.  I think I’ve paid the Belleza one three times now, and I’m not ever leaving again!

I also believe it’s a great way for all of your subscribers to try on all the skintones and check out the body without having to venture down to the store to pick up demos.  Don’t get me wrong, trying on demos to look at all the makeups is essential for me, but I like to have a starting off point too, to decide which tone’s makeups I want to see.  I am wearing the group gift in the Medium tone above.

The Nayar Katey-kini comes in nine prints/colours, five of which are sparkly for those who like to shine.

I know that some have expressed disappointment that you can’t get the multiple brow options in each skin purchase, but for the most part, I think it’s a fairly good way to do it.  Most often, people do not change their hair colour in SL, or at least not their hair colour family (like if you’re a brunette, you’re usually always a brunette, even if the actual shade changes sometimes).   So having the skins and skintones separated by brow colour is pretty smart.  Obviously, a dark mocha skin will not look good with blond brows, so that is not on offer if you want blond eyebrows.

After semi-stalking her plurk and Berry’s blog, Zaara finally released the rings she’s been working on and they’re currently only available in her stall at the fair.  There are three different styles, but this Raga ring turned out to be my favourite as I’m currently on a flower kick.  This ring is also available in three colours, so for rings, which there are just not enough of in SL when you take out wedding rings, there’s now lots of new choices at Zaara!

U&R Dogs is one of my favourite stores lately for jewelry and I found this gorgeous new set called Danse de la Dragee at the fair.  The multi-coloured gemstones means that you can wear this with anything, whether fancy or casual.

Rozoregalia is one of those super-expensive jewelry stores in SL, and I don’t own a ton from there (well, this week I actually went a bit crazy but I digress) because of that.  However, the things I do own are really nice and well-made.  At the fair, I picked up this Vanitas set, which is really gorgeous, and there’s more to it than what I am showing here, but I can only afford so much there!  It’s texture/particle/sizing change scripted, so you don’t have to wear it in purple.  But I’m born in February so amethysts are my thing.

The Lumina set, comprised of  a necklace and two styles of bracelets, was one of my favourites to discover, as I absolutely love muted metallics.  The necklace is casual, cool and layered, which are three very hot looks for me right now.  It also comes in other colours, and when you buy it, it’s as a set of two colours, which I think is pretty cool.  It was also not too expensive at L$320!  There’s soooooo much overly expensive jewelry right now and it’s nice to see a store that is a bit more realistic.

The Perio necklace is made of a couple of different types of smaller beads in several different colours (this is Pink Sea), and it’s a great way to bring together an outfit if you just can’t find the right accessories.

Thought I bought (and love) more than what I am going to show today, I decided the photos have to end sometime.  Another of my favourites pieces from the fair is this Amelia necklace.  It also comes with two colours per pack \o/ and there are two packs to choose from.  This is Terra Lime, part of the Pastels pack, but as you can see it’s not really too pastelly, which I like because well, I’m not a holiday person and I almost always associate pastels with Easter.

If you haven’t seen Sigma at the fair, then you’re missing out.  If you’re like me and you’ve never heard of them, then consider this the proverbial slap upside the head and go check them out at their mainstore!

This week was no exception to the awesomeness.

The Spring Bloom dress is so lovely and perfect for spring, which it’s starting to feel like where I am.  It’s March in a couple of days and it has not snowed all winter here.  So I am hoping, knock wood, that it means it won’t!  One can only dream.

So anyhow, where was I…right!  The Spring Bloom dress is a short frock with a ruffly skirt and a low cut scoop-necked tank style top.  It comes in several different colour combinations and lookit the bow on the back!  I love bows.  The hair worn with the yellow dress is also a newer one by Fri.day called Miley, and the one on the left is Carrie.  I love the casual ponytail styles they keep coming out with and rocking the hell out of!

Another very cute dress released recently is the Sweet Heart dress, shown here in Citrine (left) and Pearl (right).  It’s really late and I can’t think of what to say about this dress except look how gorgous!  So go get it.

The other week was a good one for hairstyles with flowers in it.  First Truth came out with Berry, and then this lovely Marie style came out the next day, with a separately attached bloom (so you can wear it with any hairstyle!)  It has to be said that Fri.day has always paid a lot of attention to the small details and making sure that their customers get their money’s worth.  The flower comes with 3 different attachment point options!

The comfy cardigan is one of my favourite releases this year.  I’m such a sweater whore.  The jeans are also one of the newer releases, and look at the cute pockets on them!  They do a booty good.

Under the sweater, I’m wearing the Fri.day Basic Cami in white, and this colour is only available as a freebie at the Sunny sim.  Yes, that’s right, a freebie.  This is one of the best cute camis, and I love that it’s not *too* low cut, so it’s good for layering under cardigans like this!  My hair is the brand new effortly classy Summer hair, and I didn’t think of it at the time, but the flower from the Marie hair would be perfect with this to sort of dress it up a bit!

It comes in four basic colours, and in every conceivable layer, which of course is fantastic for everyone who likes to mix and match.  And also, this makes your booty look smokin’!

But that’s not the only superbly textured, amazingly detailed item you can find in the store.  Everything in there is pretty much perfectly done, and it makes you look amazing and your ass is pretty scrumptious and well….lickable!

In the left outfit, I am wearing the Georgie Tapered Trousers in Tall Poppy paired with the newish Rachelle Cropped Bustier in Cherry Blossom.  The center is the gorgeous Bardot Tartan Dress, worn with my trusty Maitreya Shanti sandals in Cherry, and on the far right is the amazing Victoria High Waisted Pencil Skirt, worn over the Cole Boatneck Top in Valentino.

When the weather is light, nothing is more perfect then the Grazia Frilly Tartan Top on the left (actually worn without the frills here) with the Stein Tailored Shorts, both in the Indigo colour option.  On the right is one of her dresses that I bought immediately upon my return to SL back in October, the Haver Tiered Frock in Brown/Grey.

And when night falls (or the middle of the day, whatever works for ya) and you’re feeling like a bit of sexy time, there’s nothing better than the Frilly Little Bras & Knickers (god, I love them for being Australian and using words like knickers!!)
